Tutorial 3: Creating Your Mini-site

Orthodox Biz includes the UHP2 or User Home Pages component. This component for Joomla allows users to create their own custom pages within Orthodox Biz. The uses for these pages are many and varied. You can have static pages, photo galleries, contact pages, RSS pages, download pages, and even mp3 or other media galleries. The pages have their own unique URLs, so you can even use your Orthodox Biz mini-site as your primary Website. It's an inexpensive way to get a lot of exposure in a hurry. It's also easy to do!

We highly recommend the UHP2 component for ministries, companies, or organizations that need to allow members or affiliates to handle unique pages inside their overall installation.

Tutorial 4: Using the Acajoom Newsletter Mailing System

The Acajoom Pro Newsletter system is the most powerful and flexible newsletter component for the Joomla Content Management System. Platinum subscribers to Orthodox Biz get their own eNewsletters which they can use to manage unlimited mailing lists. In addition, a subscription form is provided so that each member can solicit subscriptions on his or her own site, or other sites that will co-operate.

How powerful is Acajoom? The Orthodox Christian Network, Orthodoxytoday.org, the American Orthodox Institute, and countless commercial businesses use Acajoom as the centerpiece of their newsletter strategies.

In this set of three videos, several major tasks are exhibited for the Acajoom system. Several of these tasks are performed for subscribers by Orthodox Biz staff. Subscribers usually are just responsible for sending out their own mailings. However, we were doing a complete set of training anyway, and so wanted to make the full set available on Orthodox Biz for interested readers. Here they are:
