"I would like to see Share the Light Sunday reach out, and, in the future, [for Come Receive the Light] to be heard throughout the United States," His Eminence Metropolitan Methodios of Boston said during Sunday's live Web TV program hosted by the Orthodox Christian Network. "I know that a tremendous effort has been made these last few years to reach the greater American public in many of the major cities of the country. I'd like to see it reach every corner of the United States — not only once a week, but why not every day? There are other denominations that have radio and television programming on a daily basis. Why not Orthodoxy?"

Fort Lauderdale, FL (Jan. 3, 2008) – The Orthodox Christian Network, an agency of SCOBA, will begin its annual celebration of "Share the Light Sunday" with something new this year: A live Web TV Special broadcast on Sunday, Jan. 13.

Recently, I've had the privilege of working on a great project that I wanted to announce to the Orthodox community in the United States. I'm working on creating an Orthodox Summer Camp and community in Mitchell County, North Carolina, on the Tenn Border, near Roan Mountain. The property is an existing camp already but not finished for the needs of an Orthodox Summer Camp.

The Beginning Harp Class is successfully underway at Sweetwater Fine Arts Academy in Longwood, Florida. The instructor, Maryjean Zarick, is the owner of Paradise Harp Music and has over 25 years of teaching experience.

Students begin on small 26 string harps which are light weight and portable. All of the skills learned on this small harp can be transfered to a larger harp. Regardless of the student's interest in classical music or celtic music, the basic beginning skills are the same.

PARADISE HARP MUSIC is pleased to announce that its owner, Maryjean Zarick, has been appointed the task of developing a harp department at the Sweetwater Fine Arts Academy in Longwood, Florida. Established in 2006, the academy arose from a community desire to provide instruction to singers, dancers, actors and musicians in a Christ Centered environment. Ms. Zarick is a member of St. Stephen the Protomartyr, OCA in Longwood and will be the only Orthodox Christian faculty member.

Late in 2006, the owner and founder of Free Beer Buddy , Henry Bentley, was looking for a way to make his dream a reality. Henry wanted to build an online community dedicated to beer. Not only would members be able to register and share information about beer specials in their area, but they would also be able to share information about beer events, build connections with other beer enthusiasts, and share their blogs, photos, etc. with each other.
