ImageCLRC is an online Resource Center for teachers and homeschoolers, dedicated to Christian education through Classical Learning. We believe that a Classical education prepares us for life's responsibilities, opens the door to a true understanding of our humanity, and deepens our Faith.

BONNERS FERRY, ID – Noted Christian author Matthew Gallatin has joined the Classical Learning Resource Center (CLRC) as its new Academic Dean.

Gallatin is a popular writer and nationally-known speaker. His first book, Thirsting for God in a Land of Shallow Wells, has sold extensively in the United States and abroad. It recounts the story of his discovery of Eastern Orthodox Christianity as an evangelical Protestant.

Joining founders John and Anne Van Fossen, Gallatin brings additional experience and teaching credentials to the CLRC, which offers online classically based instruction for homeschoolers at both the primary and secondary levels. Gallatin taught Philosophy for 17 years at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, and at North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Along with fulfilling his duties as Academic Dean, Gallatin will offer two high-school-level courses for the Spring Semester: Critical Thinking, and God and the Philosophers. These will complement current CLRC courses in Latin and Greek, as well as Greek Mythology and Homer.

Located in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, the CLRC serves an international community on the web. Registration for the Spring Semester (January 11- May 14) begins on November 5. Class sizes are limited for the purpose of quality instruction, so early enrollment is encouraged.

To learn more about the school and/or to register for classes, visit the CLRC online at www.clrchomeschool.com or cilck here to view an informational PDF on CLRC!
