Ft. Lauderdale, FL- The Orthodox Christian Network is pleased to announce the appointment of Vladimir Morosan, Doctor of Musical Arts, as the programming director of one of its on line radio networks. He has worked in the field of Orthodox Church music for over thirty-five years. After completing his undergraduate degree in music at Occidental College, in California, he received his Masters and Doctoral degrees in Choral Music from the University of Illinois. He has directed choirs in parishes of Russian, Serbian, and Antiochian backgrounds and has taught and lectured widely at church music workshops and conferences. He is also the composer and editor of numerous choral arrangements, chiefly for Orthodox liturgical use, and the host of “Icons in Sound,” an internet-radio podcast that airs on the Orthodox Christian Network. The Executive Director of the OCN Fr. Christopher Metropulos stated, "We are honored to welcome Dr. Moroson and his dedicated wife Helen as Program Director's of The RUDDER.
