But the free option has constraints. You get only one Website, and your description is capped out at 100 characters. Here is are some quick guides to making the most of your free entry:

• Pay attention to your description. You have 100 characters, which is almost as much as a Tweet. Sure, you can put "Counseling" or "Financial Services" in your description. But is that really selling your business? Does that tell people why they should use your company? Instead, take the time to put together a better description. "We provide financial planning with mutual fund sales and accounting services." That's 78 characters, meaning that you can say all that and more besides. If you can't think of a good description, don't worry. You can edit the description any time you want to, so if you think of a better just come back and update it.
• Put your Website in, and use the Website Description. For free, you can list one Website and you can use up to 50 characters to tell people what they can do at your Website.
• Put in your tags. The tags come from the keywords you put on your entry. Put in as many keywords as apply to your business or ministry. Google loves tags. They help you get the best validation.
• Pick good categories. You can have up to five of them. If you don't see one that matches your needs, then request a new one by using the contact form.

With a paid subscription (starting at $5.00 a month), you can have a much, much better entry.
