S. Eugene, AKA “Casey” Cohlmia long time Furniture retailer in Oklahoma and Wichita presented his first work of fiction to the Wichita KS market and the World last week . PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE For further information contact: LOCAL ENTRPRENEUR TURNS AUTHOR! Upon his retirement several years ago and being extremely active, Mr. S. Eugene Cohlmia commenced a work seeking his Genealogical background. He has since taken his family back to the year of 43 A. D.! One can send in one's D. N. A. to verify family lineage, and it turns out that Mr. Cohlmia's family is of the Phoenician’s or as dubbed by the Greeks - The Purple People for the dye they produced. After a successful period at this he decided to continue work on a book of fiction encouraged by his favorite high school teacher. Mr. Cohlmia tells us he has nine children's books ready to be published and two other fictional manuscripts being written. He is also writing several magazine articles. Mr. Cohlmia was born in Oklahoma during the Great Depression in the area of the Great Dust Bowl. Upon graduation from High School he moved to Tulsa Oklahoma where he became a sales representative later Marketing Manager and store Manager for local Furniture Retailer. He moved to Wichita KS in 1955 where he met and married his wife of fifty-two years. They have four sons, Jeffrey, Bradley, Paul and Randy. Mr. Cohlmia has been retired for several years and now enjoys his writings as well as Grand Children (5) and one Great Grand Daughter. S. Eugene and his wife Helen are active members of St. George Orthodox Christian Church.
