Music is an integral part of life. Which is why being able to sing or play an instrument is a dream shared by millions of people.Without music, life is a journey through a desert. -Novelist Pat Conroy A Key to learning to sing, or play an instrument, is finding a reputable, qualified music teacher that can help turn your dream into a reality. How do you find a Christian music instructor, teaching in your area, or on-line, that meets your needs and expectations? Or, to turn the question around, if you are a Christian music instructor with a lot to offer prospective students – how do you get found? How do you stand out from the crowd of hundreds, if not thousands, of instructors so that students will know about you and the services you offer? Xavier Aguilar, a music student and parent has experienced the challenges in finding a reputable music instructor. Also, as a musician and music instructor he has experienced the difficulties and high costs involved in advertising and marketing a music instruction business. His love of music, and Christ, and strong desire to connect music instructors and students within the Christian community, has led him to launch his new Website - ChristianMusicInstructors.com. ChristianMusicInstructors.com is a new Website listing background certified instructors. ” Xavier explained, “We have a directory that is searchable by lesson type and location. Students can now come to one central location and quickly search for a music instructor within a city or zip code area, and quickly receive information on matching instructors and their location, which listed on a provided map. As a music teacher, Xavier appreciates the time spent with students sharing information and the love for music. As a student, he values the influence and impact his music teachers have had in his life. Xavier said “ It is profoundly important that music teachers conduct lessons with an exceptional degree of professionalism, and in an manner that promotes and supports sound morals and values. To join our directory, all instructors have to pass an extensive background check, which is initiated during the instructor’s registration process, and is completed prior to the instructor being listed on our site. It’s an opportunity to provide students with an added peace of mind, and instructors with a chance to promote an additional quality. Besides listing themselves in a directory, instructors joining Christian Music Instructors receive other benefits as well. As Xavier explained, “Instructors will each get their own blog. Part of success in the online marketplace is getting located. By blogging about their music business, instructors increase their search engine profile. They also improve the comfort level of potential students, who can feel a real connection after having read blog entries from a potential teacher. And, very importantly, blogs are great way to really enhance the educational process. By blogging with us, teachers can keep their students engaged in the learning process when not in class!” In addition, instructors will have blogs featured in the monthly eNewsletter that will have wide circulation. We will also allow students to rate and review instructors, thereby giving valuable feedback to other potential students!” ChristianMusicInstructors.com offers three packages for instructors to choose from, and one for music stores offering in-house classes. The included benefits in each package vary, with the most complete package offering all of the following:
In celebration of the launch of ChristianMusicInstructors.com, music instructors signing up before December 31st 2008 will receive their first 90 days free! “For instructors,” Xavier added, “We offer an unprecedented ability to showcase yourself and your teaching. For students, we offer an easy way to find quality instructors who share your values and who are committed to your success. It is a win-win for everyone!” To find out more, please visit www.christianmusicinstructors.com About Xavier Aguilar
Xavier is a resident of Southern California. He is a Christian, husband, father, and Grandfather. During his lifetime he has played trumpet, violin, cello, and guitar. He settled into guitar as his main instrument nearly 16 years ago. A few years later he began teaching after school programs, church programs, group lessons, and individuals lessons. During the past 11 years he has played in numerous secular and Christian bands. In 2002 he began playing guitar in his churches worship team, and continues to enjoy that blessing today. Xavier’s beliefs regarding music and teaching music are simple. God gives each of us gifts that we can use to glorify Him. He enjoys being part of the process of developing those gifts, through Christ, and wants to help others do the same.
