 The Orthodox Business Directory has a very lofty goal - to register, categorize, and promote every Orthodox Christian affiliated business in existence. (Though we plan to focus on the United States first.)
Registration of your business in the directory is absolutely free for a basic entry. The directory is searchable by the general public using an excellent search form.
Why should you list your business in the Orthodox Business Directory?

‡ It's free. Your listing is good for 365 days, even if you cancel your membership within the free trial.
‡ Orthodox Christians would love to support other Orthodox Christians in business. The trouble is, most Orthodox Christians in your own parish, let alone in your city, don't even know what you do for a living. They may need your services or products, but have no idea that you are even offering what they need.
‡ A listing increases your exposure on the Internet. The more places search engines can find information about your business, the greater the chance that your customer base will be able to locate you. Orthodox Biz gets 10,000 unique vistors a month. ‡Our eNewsletter goes out once a month to a mailing list of over 8,000. It is one of the largest mailing lists in the Orthodox world. And it grows monthly by upwards of several hundred names. Members get premium placement in the newsletter.
‡We give premium advertising space to members. Orthodox Biz has a lot of room for banners, videos, and other kinds of ads. As a member, you get to tap this advertising space to get your message out!
To list in the directory, first register for the site. Free registration is available, though the capabilities available to you for free are less than of the paid memberships.
Once you are registered, click the option to Add Entry. Fill out the simple form and submit it for review.
There are some optional paid fields. These are free for paying members, even at the $5.00 a month level. However, if you are a free member and would like to use these options, there is a small charge to help offset the expense of providing this service.
These options include description and additional categories beyond the one free one. All other fields on the form are free! The form even works with Google Maps to provide directions to your place of business!
We review all submitted businesses to make sure that your business and your description of it are in accordance with the tenets of the Orthodox Christian faith.
Better to be safe than sorry.
Approval usually takes less than an hour. After we approve your listing, it will appear in the category you have chosen to display it.
With any level of membership, you are always able to update and edit your entry. As your business grows and develops, your entry can be changed to match the new circumstances.
If you have more than ones business, then feel free to register them all! You can control all listings from one membership ID.
Listings for free members are good for 1 year. After that, you will have to renew them. This is to make sure that the directory only contains valid data.
Listings for paying members do not expire.
